Wetherby Senior School

In their own words
In our relatively short history, Wetherby Senior has built a vibrant, diverse and caring community with strong shared values. Our objective is simple – we want our young people to experience an outstanding, well-rounded and progressive education that prepares them to face modern life with a strong sense of responsibility and compassion towards others.
Our dynamic and experienced teachers provides an environment which inspires, encourages and, above all, cares for our boys as individuals. The breadth of our academic offering is designed to help our young people grow into young adults who are resilient, adaptable, creative, and motivated to continue learning throughout their lives.
Our rigorous academic curriculum is complemented by a broad collection of co-curricular activities to help our young people develop their passions and pursue new interests. We offer a diverse range of clubs, music tuition in an array of instruments and numerous musical ensembles, and at least three drama productions a year. Sport is compulsory for all, so we make use of our superb on-site equipment (which include a fully-equipped gym and weights room, boxercise studio and spin studio) and state-of-the-art external facilities at Ealing Trailfinders.
Our location in Marylebone affords our pupils access to a diverse and cosmopolitan community, whilst ensuring we can easily undertake regular visits to museums, galleries, theatres, exhibitions, lectures and other places of interest, both in London and further afield.
We encourage the ambitions of all our young people with strong higher education and careers guidance, which starts much earlier than most schools and includes support for North American university applications. Our recent alumni now study at some of the most prestigious universities across the UK, continental Europe and North America.
Our website will give you some insight into life at Wetherby Senior but I hope you will be attend our Open Day or a Visitor Morning to meet with me, my colleagues and our pupils, to experience our unique atmosphere and learn more about our School.
