In their own words

Welcome to JAGS! We are delighted to share this snapshot of our wonderful community with you. With its distinctive heritage as the oldest independent girls’ school in London, JAGS has girls’ education in its DNA. This is a school that offers a forward-thinking and contemporary education for over 1100 students aged 4 to 18.

It is absolutely my belief that all girls should be given the opportunity to grow and flourish in an environment where there is no limit to their ambitions. At JAGS you will find a happy, diverse and dynamic community, rooted in academic excellence and fully committed to the breadth of a holistic education both in and out of the classroom. Compassion and commitment are central to our ethos, in this community that values individuality and inclusivity.

It is an enormous privilege to lead this exceptional school, where students and staff share a passion for life and learning. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

The admissions process uses the online ISEB Common Pre Test. This exam has a specific format and structure, includes a range of predictable questions types and is taken in an online/computer environment. Students should pay particular attention to the Non-Verbal and Verbal-Reasoning modules, as these sections may include question types they have never encountered before.

Our ISEB Pre Test hub includes unlimited revision and unlimited exams. Click below to learn more about our ISEB Pre Test preparation.
