The complete Slough Consortium revision experience. All 10 exams: 5x Paper 1 and 5x Paper 2.

Paper 1

A complete Slough Consortium 11+ mock exam experience.

One full Paper 1 designed to replicate the conditions on exam day across all four Slough grammar schools: Herschel Grammar, Langley Grammar, St Bernard's Catholic Grammar and Upton Court Grammar.

Specially prepared for the Slough Consortium entrance exam, our Paper 1 mock follows the full Verbal Skills structure used on the day. Each paper contains English and Verbal Reasoning across ten timed sections, the same format, pace and pressure as the real thing.

Paper 1 has a distinct character across both parts: comprehension and language-led English, and letter and logic-led Verbal Reasoning. It focuses on the question types that emphasise reading comprehension, vocabulary precision and logical word-pattern reasoning.

Both Slough papers are taken on the same day with a short break in between, so pair Paper 1 with our Paper 2 (Non-Verbal Reasoning, Spatial Reasoning and Mathematics) for full exam coverage.

Papers include a separate GL-style answer sheet to simulate exam conditions, designed to look and feel like the real thing. A complete answer key with explanations is included with every paper.

Question types include:

Part A — English

  • Reading comprehension on a literary passage
  • Spelling, identifying errors in continuous prose
  • Sentence completion, choosing the correct word to fit each gap

Part B — Verbal Reasoning

  • Insert a Letter — finding the letter that completes two words
  • Logic Problems — multi-clue reasoning puzzles
  • Opposites — selecting two words with opposite meanings (one from each group)
  • Letter Series — completing alphabetic sequences
  • Hidden Word — spotting a 4-letter word hidden across two adjacent words
  • Word Link — finding the word that connects two given words

Paper 2

A complete Slough Consortium 11+ mock exam experience.

One full Paper 2 designed to replicate the conditions on exam day across all four Slough grammar schools: Herschel Grammar, Langley Grammar, St Bernard's Catholic Grammar and Upton Court Grammar.

Specially prepared for the Slough Consortium entrance exam, our Paper 2 mock follows the full Non-Verbal Reasoning & Mathematics structure used on the day. Each paper contains Non-Verbal Reasoning, Spatial Reasoning and Mathematics across three timed sections, the same format, pace and pressure as the real thing.

Paper 2 has a distinct character across all three sections: visual-pattern-led Non-Verbal Reasoning, 3D-spatial-led Spatial Reasoning and full-curriculum Mathematics. It focuses on the question types that emphasise visual reasoning, three-dimensional spatial thinking and applied KS2 maths. Both Slough papers are taken on the same day with a short break in between, so pair Paper 2 with our Paper 1 (English and Verbal Reasoning) for full exam coverage.

Papers include a separate GL-style answer sheet to simulate exam conditions, designed to look and feel like the real thing. A complete answer key with explanations is included with every paper.

Question types include:

  • Codes (letter codes)
