St Olave's Grammar School

St Olave’s assess entrance with their own Selective Eligibility Test (S.E.T.). The test is usually between 50 and 60 questions, covering English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning.


The test lasts about an hour and is time rigid, in that children are told when to finish and start each of the four sections. All the questions historically have been multiple choice, with no open answer questions.
