Entrance exams are written by the school, with the exception of Verbal Reasoning which is provided by GL. GL (Granada Learning, previously NFER) is one of the two leading 11+ exam bodies in the UK, alongside CEM.

Maths papers and Verbal Reasoning papers are usually entirely multiple choice, while the English test is largely open answer.
